IJustHoop LLC (“IJustHoop,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the IJustHoop mobile application (the “App”).
01. Information We Collect
Information You Provide:
- Phone number (for account verification via SMS)
- Username and profile information
- Skill level, position, and basketball preferences
- Photos and videos you choose to upload
- IJustHoop does not collect, scan, capture, extract, or process facial biometric data, facial geometry, or facial identification measurements. Photos uploaded via the camera or photo library are used solely as standard user profile avatars or community post images.
- Posts, ratings, and reviews you submit
- Payment information (processed securely through Apple In-App Purchase)
Information Collected Automatically:
- Location data (to show nearby gyms and games, only with your permission)
- Device information (device type, operating system)
- Usage data (app interactions, features used)
02. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Verify your identity via SMS one-time passcode
- Create and manage your account
- Connect you with nearby gyms, players, and pickup games
- Display your profile, posts, and activity to other users
- Process Pro subscription payments
- Send you notifications about games, friend requests, and gym activity
- Improve and maintain the App
- Respond to support requests
03. SMS Messaging
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive a one-time SMS verification code from IJustHoop for the purpose of account creation and login. Message and data rates may apply.
We do not use your phone number for marketing purposes.
04. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:
- Profile photos are stored securely on our database servers (Supabase) and are never shared with, sold to, or monetized by third parties.
- With other users, as part of the App’s social features (username, profile, posts)
- With service providers who help us operate the App (such as Supabase, Twilio, and RevenueCat)
- If required by law or to protect our legal rights
- In connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition)
05. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
06. Your Choices
You can:
- Update your profile information or change/replace your profile photo at any time within the App’s Profile Settings
- Delete your account by contacting us at sam@ijusthoop.com, or permanently erase all account data via the in-app “Delete Account” button
- Profile photos are retained as long as your account remains active
- Opt out of push notifications through your device settings
07. Children’s Privacy
IJustHoop is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
08. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or via email.
